Beach and Waterfront Wedding Ceremony & Reception Spaces
Here is this week’s round-up of gorgeous venues that we stumbled upon. It must be “water week” at Venue Safari because many of this weeks past posts (and upcoming!) are waterfront or beach wedding ceremony or reception locations!
This is my eye candy! It’s amazing what a stunning location can do for a wedding. A waterfront ceremony adds a naturally romantic element to a wedding. The soothing sounds of the ocean make the perfect soundtrack for a heartfelt wedding ceremony.
Look closely, when you have a wedding reception location with a view- water or otherwise- it adds a natural decor element and helps limit the amount of money you have to dish out for additional decor (unless of course you want to!). Both of the first two locations show minimal decor- light colored chairs, muted linens…the view really speaks for itself. So remember, when you are comparing pricing of wedding venues, consider if one location might include existing decor and reduce the amount you need some to spend on additional decor.

(two photos because I could not choose just one!) This really exemplifies the idea that a location can have so much existing decor, charm, etc that not much additional decor is needed:
The Seagate Hotel & Spa and Beach Club in Delray Beach, Florida
This hotel makes an interesting destination wedding option, Delray Beach is a sweet little beach town complete with restaurants, shopping and beautiful beaches but at a slower pace than some other South Florida beach cities. The hotel is a few blocks from the beach but has a fun little trolly to take you and your guests to their beach club.
This newer luxury hotels features beautiful accommodations for your guests, a large beach and a camp for kids. I love that they have a lawn right on the beach so couples can have the beach feel without sand in everyone’s shoes!
