Dumbarton House, Georgetown Wedding Venue

Built in 1800, the Dumbarton House is a gorgeous historic home tucked in a residential area of DC’s Georgetown neighborhood. The home boasts a beautiful outdoor area for your ceremony and cocktails and a downstairs courtyard for small outdoor events or tented large wedding receptions.

Event Space Details

Capacity: 150 for a seated dinner in the Belle Vue room and tented courtyard including space for a dance floor and band

If you have 70 guests or less, you can host a seated dinner with dance floor and band without renting a tent.

For smaller weddings of 50 guests or less, you are able to use the inside main hall of the house for an indoor wedding ceremony option.

Outdoor ceremonies take place in the North Garden flanked by ornate urns, greenery and outdoor art.

Decor: The Belle Vue Room features yellow walls and white columns. The outside spaces have an elegant garden feel. All of the event spaces, indoor and outdoor have historic touches that make it a unique venue and feels true to the Georgetown neighborhood where it is located.
